Nice sunrise over Crestone Needle. Reached the summit of Humboldt Peak at around 7am.
Making Quandary fun via alternate route. Some nice class 3 climbing. Made it to the summit too late; the Swiss had ate all the fondue!!!
Making Torreys & Grays a little bit more challenging. The “knife edge” was fun.
I ran from the summit of Grays back to the trailhead in about one hour. Took me a week to recover. Stupid 🙂

Climb of Pyramid Peak on September 13, 2015
Starting slightly before 3am turned out to be a bad idea. Missed the gully to the saddle and went too far…
Bad thing about climbing up gullies you don’t know? Sometime it’s a dead end.
After wasting two hours I finally made it to the saddle
View of Pyramid Peak from the saddle
The type of rocks we’re dealing with? Both stable…and loose. Depending on which one you grab
The infamous “Gap” – The way down would not be fun.
Looking back after crossing the “Ledge”
